Medicals: Example C - Young Female

Laura, a 30 year old lady. Married with one baby. Has always kept up with her smears. Has found herself being a mum and not looking after her needs. She now feels its time for her to take control of her health for the future.

What would be included?

• Health questionnaire
• Height
• Weight
• Body mass index
• Body composition analysis
• Flexibility and general fitness
• Blood pressure
• Full examination with doctor ( you can choose against intimate examination if you wish)
• ECG (heart tracing)
• Spirometry (lung function)
• Urinalysis (checking urine for kidney/liver problems or sugar)
• Blood tests to check Blood count / Sugar / Cholesterol/ Kidney / Liver
• Cardiovascular Risk assessment
• Smear test - if required

How much would all this cost?

She would pay £380 for all tests, examinations and a further consultation to discuss the results. A smear would be an additional £80.
